It is with the deepest regret that the members, friends, workers and the whole of Esquerra Republicana mourn the passing away of philosopher and professor Josep Maria Terricabras, a former MEP for Esquerra Republicana.

We all wish to convey our most sincere condolences to Josep Maria’s family and friends.

We also wish to express our most profound gratitude and recognition for Josep Maria, his commitment to public service and to republican values. A good man who dedicated the greater part of his life to the study and teaching of Philosophy, but also to public service, representing the citizens of Catalonia at the European Parliament between 2014 and 2019.
