MEP Jordi Solé to be a member of the Plenary of the Conference on the Future of Europe

Esquerra Republicana MEP Jordi Solé was elected today by the Greens-EFA as a member of the Plenary of the Conference on the Future of Europe representing the group. The Plenary is to be made up by over 400 members from all the European institutions – the Commission, the Parliament and the Council – as well as state parliaments, social actors and civil society.

The Conference on the Future of Europe is meant to be a democratic exercise for EU citizens to share their ideas in order to help shape the future of Europe.

“It is an honour to form part of this great debate that aims to set the guidelines for the future of the Union. At Esquerra we want tomorrow’s EU to be stronger, more democratic, greener and fairer,” said Mr Solé.
